30-12-2019 In memoriam Junior

We didn’t want to say goodbye but we said till we meet again.
Our One and Only Singleton puppy has left at the age of 12,5 years.
He was for us a very special and loving dog with a heart of gold.
Our hearts are broken.

Today we had to say goodbye to our beloved Luna.
No more pain and suffering for you but you leave a very big empty place in our heart and pack.
We miss you Luna.
Now your that shinning star with all the others close to the moon.
Till we meet again sweet Luna.

Pearl gave birth to 6 lovely strong puppies.
2 males and 4 females.
We have 2 females available.

19-09-2019 We expect our first Coonhound Litter

Today we went for an ultrasound and we can bring the good news that our lovely Pearl is in whelp.
In August we visit a lovely boy and his owners in Czech Republic.
His name is Ch. Kalan's One For The Road 'Mo' import USA. 
We can not express how happy and thankfull we are that we were able to use Mo.
Mo and Pearl were a lovely pair and compleet each other perfectly.

For later this Autum we are planning our first Coonhound litter.
This will be with BISS NL.Ch. BayAway Kennisaw Black Pearl For Mergelhoeve HD-A.
Once the pregnancy is confirmed we will announce the dog we have used.
Hopefully we can say in a few weeks if our trip was successfull.

Back home from the Benelux Winner Show in Liege Belgium.
Totally Different v.d. Mergelhoeve NJK,LJK,BJr.Ch ‘Joker’ 1Exc JBOB Benelux Junior Winner Belgium 2019.

07-07-2019 Int. Dog Show Echt

After a short night are here the results of the Int. Dogshow Limburgia.
Int.Sh.Ch./NL.Ch. BayAway Kennisaw Flying Dutchman For Mergelhoeve ‘Jimmy’ 1Exc CAC/CACIB and BOB.
BISS BayAway Kennisaw Black Pearl For Mergelhoeve ‘Pearl’ 1Exc CAC/CACIB and BOS.
Pearl gained her final point to finish her Dutch Championship.
Later Jimmy had to come back in the group and finished as 3rd Best In Group!!
Jimmy is now qualified for the Dog of the year show.
So proud of our team we had a lovely time.

22-06-2019 Belgium Hound Specialty

Back home from the Belgium Scent Hound Specialty Show.
We had a lovely sunny day.
Int.Sh.Ch./NL.Ch. BayAway Kennisaw Flying Dutchman For Mergelhoeve ‘Jimmy’ 1Exc CAC.

Pearl For Mergelhoeve ‘Pearl’ 1Exc CAC.
Jimmy and Pearl competed in the brace class and won Best In Show Brace.
Later both had to come back for Best Male and Best Female in Show before they would choose Best In Show.
Jimmy finished as 3rd Best In Show Male.
And then it was Pearl’s turn to enter the ring. She was Best In Show Female and had to compete again the BIS Male for BIS.
Pearl did amazing and loved to be out again.
Pearl won Best In Show at this Scent Hound specialty.
It was for the first time that the Black and Tan Coonhounds were entered there and did the breed proud!!!

Today at Int. Pinkster Show Venray NL.

Joker gained his last point for his Dutch Junior Championship.
Later Joker and Kim had the pleasure to join the lovely Gundog Group.
No luck this time but he was standing there again.
We had a lovely day.

Jimmy and Pearl got both qualified for Crufts 2020!!!

We had a early start this morning but brought us very nice results.
Totally Different v.d. Mergelhoeve ‘Joker’ 1Exc Luxembourg Junior Champion and BOS.
Joker was with the best 3 juniors of Group 7.
BISS NL.Ch. Romance In Surrey v.d. Mergelhoeve ‘Poppy’ 1Exc CACL/CACIB and BOB.
Poppy ended the day with the 6 best of Group 7.
Poppy gained her 2nd point to become a Luxembourg Champion.
Joker and Poppy got both qualified for Crufts 2020!!!
So proud of our team.

Joker gained his last qualification for his Belgium Junior Championship.
We were the only Gordon today but still very proud of how Joker performed.

We had a amazing day with lots of fun and laugther at Crufts.
Here the results.
Totally Different v.d. Mergelhoeve ‘Joker’ just 11 months old won Puppy Dog Class and Best Puppy Dog. And later Best Puppy in Breed!!!
BIS/BISS Multi Ch. Perfect Thunder v.d. Mergelhoeve ‘Thunder’ VHC in a very strong Open Class Dogs.
BISS NL.Ch. Romance In Surrey v.d. Mergelhoeve ‘Poppy’ no placement but she did amazing in such a strong Open Bitch Class.
We are extremely proud of our team.

Whoohoo over the moon!!!!
For the first time ever with a coonhound at the dog of the year show.
NL.Ch. BayAway Kennisaw Flying Dutchman For Mergelhoeve ‘Jimmy’ won group 6 at the Dog of the Year Show of 2018.
Jimmy was with the final 10 best dogs of 2018!!!
We can't thank Judi and Debbie enough for our amazing coonhounds.
