Vandaag zijn we met Jimmy en Pearl naar de Belgian Winner Show in Brussel geweest.
De laatste show voor dit jaar waar we weer hele mooie resultaten hebben behaald.

Jimmy en Pearl behaalde wederom een nieuwe titel. Beide zijn Belgian Junior Winner 2017 geworden!!!
Daarbij was Pearl bij de laatste 6 in de Groep.

17-12-2017 Belgian Winner Show Brussel

Today we went with Jimmy and Pearl to the Belgian Winner Show in Brussel.
It was the last show fort his year and we went home with very nice results.

Jimmy and Pearl did gain another new title. Both became Belgian Junior Winner 2017!!!
With that Pearl was shortlisted with the final 6 in the Group.

Vandaag zijn we met onze coonhounds naar Luxemburg geweest.
Pearl maakte hier haar show debuut en hoe.
Jimmy en Pearl konden hun fokker geen beter verjaardags cadeau geven.
En wij zijn natuurlijk mega trots op beide.

Jimmy heeft nu zijn laatste punt gewonnen voor zijn Benelux Jeugd Kampioenschap en is ook nog Luxemburgs Jeugd Kampioen geworden.
Later in de ere ring voor best jeugd reu werd hij geselcteerd uit een hele grote groep jeugd reuen.
En in de rasgroep zat hij ook bij de laatste 6 beste van de groep.
En dan ons klein meisje.

Later in de ere ring won ze Beste Puppy Teef en moest toen tegen de beste puppy reu terug komen.
Dit deed ze geweldig of dat ze voor de show ring geboren is.

Today we went with our coonhounds to the show in Luxembourg.
Pearl made here her show debut and how.
Jimmy and Pearl couldn't give their breeder a better Birthday pressant.
And ofcourse we are mega proud of them.

And in the main group he was with the final best 6 of the group.
And then our little girl. 
BayAway Kennisaw Black Pearl For Mergelhoeve 'Pearl' 1 Very Promissing and PBOB.
Later in the main ring she won Best Puppy Bitch and had to compete against the puppy male.
She did great like if she was born for the show ring.
Pearl won Best Puppy of the Day!!!

Ook onze Pearl was mee als supporter en had het reuze naar der zin.

Vandaag is Secret Sign v.d. Mergelhoeve 'Siri' naar show geweest in Gothenburg Zweden. 
En heeft het weer heel goed gedaan. 
Ze werd Beste Puppy van het Ras en 3de Beste Puppy in Groep.
De keurmeester was zeer te spreken over haar.
Petra en Siri gefeliciteerd met dit geweldige resultaat.

En Romance In Paris v.d. Mergelhoeve 'Paris' is vandaag naar de show in Marshfield Winsconsin geweest.
Ook Paris had een super dag en won daar Best Of Winners voor 2 kampioenschaps punten.
Lynn en Paris gefeliciteerd met dit super resultaat.

Today Secret Sign v.d. Mergelhoeve 'Siri' went to the show in Gothenburg Sweden. 
She did amazing. 
She became Best Puppy in Breed and 3rd Best Puppy in Group.
The judge said lovely words about her.
Petra and Siri congratulations with these great results.

And Romance In Paris v.d. Mergelhoeve 'Paris' was today at the show in Marshfield Winsconsin.
Also Paris had a super day and won Best Of Winners for 2 points.
Lynn and Paris many congrats with these wonderfull results.

Vanaf vandaag mogen wij vertellen dat wij verleden jaar Oktober toen wij onze Jimmy zijn gaan halen Paris mee naar Amerika gevlogen hebben.
Paris haar volledige naam is Romance In Paris v.d. Mergelhoeve en is woonachtig in Amerika.
We hebben een super tijd met Paris doorgebracht zowel in NL als de tijd die we nog in Amerika hadden.
En het was dan ook niet makkelijk om haar na al die maanden over te dragen maar we wisten dat ze goed terecht kwam.
Vandaag is zij voor het eerst op show geweest in Marshfield Winsconsin.
Ze had het super goed gedaan en werd Reserve Winners Bitch.
Lynn en Paris wij zijn ontzettend trots met deze mooie resultaten.

From now on we can tell that when we picked up Jimmy last year in October we flew Paris into America.
Paris her registration name is Romance In Paris v.d. Mergelhoeve and she is living in America.
We had a wonderfull time with Paris here in NL but also those last days when we were in America.
It wasn't easy to hand her over after all those months but we knew she would get a great home and family.
Today she went for the first time to a show in Marshfield Winsconsin.
She did really well for her first time and won Reserve Winners Bitch.
Lynn and Paris we are very proud of these wonderfull results

18-08-2017 Rust zacht lieve Saar

Vandaag ontvingen wij het trieste bericht dat Saartje door een tragisch ongeval om het leven is gekomen.
Helaas heeft haar leventje maar van korte duur mogen zijn.
Wij kunnen het nog niet bevatten.
Jij was een van de pups waar we voor hebben moeten vechten toen je geboren werd. 
Dit omdat je een moeilijke start had en we hadden dus een hele speciale band met haar.
Wij wensen haar baasjes en de kinderen heel veel sterkte met dit grote verdriet en verlies van Saartje.
Saar is nu een heel mooi sterretje aan de hemel.
Rust zacht lieve Saar en tot ooit.

Today we received the sad news that Saartje died by a tragic accident.
Her life was way to short.
We still can't understand why this had to happen.
You were one of the pups we had to fight for when you were born. 
And that's why we had such a special bond with you.
We wish her owners and the children a lot of strength with this great loss of Saartje.
Saar is now a twinkeling star in heaven.
Rest in peace Saar and one day we meet again.

Vandaag bereikte ons het trieste bericht dat Ineke afscheid heeft moeten nemen van haar geliefde Cindy.
Cindy is een pup uit ons Kinky nest en zou in September 9 jaar worden.
Wij wensen Ineke heel veel sterkte met dit grote verlies van Cindy maar,
we willen haar ook bedanken voor wat zij allemaal gedaan heeft voor haar.
Rust zacht lieve Cindy en ooit komen jullie weer samen.

Today we received the sad news that Ineke had to say good bye to her beloved Cindy. 
Cindy is a pup out of our Kinky litter and would be 9 years in September. 
We wish Ineke a lot of strenght with this bid loss of her Cindy. 
And we want to thank Ineke for all she did for Cindy. 
You gave her a home and a trustfull feeling in humans. 
Run free sweet Cindy and one day you will meet again with Ineke.

Sugar behaalde met deze mooie uitslag haar laatste punt voor haar Nederlands Kampioenschap.
Maar dat is nog niet alles later moesten Jimmy en Thunder terug in de ere-ring verschijnen.
Beide deden het geweldig. Helaas werd Jimmy niet geplaatst maar weer een goede oefening voor hem.
Maar dan Thunder die blijft maar gaan.
Hij won Groep 7 en mocht dus later terug komen voor Best In Show.
Wat was dat weer mooi om te zien die 2 Kim & Thunder.
Thunder werd 4de Best In Show en wat zijn wij trots als fokkers maar ook als ouders op Kim & Thunder.

Today we went with our team to the show.

Buth that's not all later Jimmy and Thunder had to get back in the main ring.
Both did great.
Jimmy didn't get placed but it was a good training for him.
But then Thunder he keeps rolling.
He won the Group and had to come back for Best In Show later.
It was nice to see those 2 Kim & Thunder again in the main ring.
Thunder became 4th Best In Show and we are so proud of Kim & Thunder not only as breeders but also as parents.

Vandaag zijn we naar de show in Luik geweest en hebben weer geweldige resultaten behaald.
Een dag met een 'gouden' rand die wij met z'n allen nooit zullen vergeten.

Later moesten Jimmy en Thunder terug in de groep komen en dit was voor Kim toch wel even zweten,
omdat ze achter elkaar de ere-ring in moesten.
Maar gelukkig was dit niet voor niks al dat zweten.
Jimmy werd niet geselcteerd of geplaatst in de groep.
Maar ondanks dat zijn wij toch ontzettend trots op deze jonge man.
Toen was het Thunder's beurt.
Thunder gaf alles wat hij in huis had en werd Beste van Groep 7 en moest dus terug komen voor Best In Show.
Voor Best In Show stonden 10 mooie honden die ieder hun rasgroep vertegenwoordigde.
Ook hier gaven Thunder en Kim weer alles wat ze maar konden wat uitkwam met een geweldig resultaat.
Een droom die voor Kim uitkwam met Thunder maar ook zeker voor ons als fokker.
Thunder werd namelijk verkozen als Best In Show van de Golden Dog Trophy 2017!!!

Today we went for the 2nd day to the show in Liege and we got wonderfull results.
A day with a 'golden' edge what we all will never forget.

Later Jimmy and Thunder had to go back in the group and that was hard work for Kim,
as they had to go after each other in the main-ring.
Jimmy didn't got selected or placed but we are any way very proud of this young boy.
Then it was Thunder's turn to enter the main-ring and he gave all he could.
Thunder won the Group and had to come back for Best In Show.
For Best In Show were 10 beautiful dogs that their group represented.
Also here gave Thunder and Kim again all they could what came out with a great result.
A dream came true for Kim with Thunder but also for us as breeders.
Thunder became Best In Show of the Golden Dog Trophy 2017!!!

Today we got the news that Thunder has a new Champion title.
From now on he is also Belgian Show Champion.
Well done Thunder and Kim.
Thunder is the first Mergelhoeve offspring who has this title.

Vandaag zijn we met Jimmy en Poppy wezen rontgenen en dat zag er goed uit.
We wisten dat we de uitslagen vrij snel zouden krijgen omdat het nu via een nieuw systeem gaat en alles gelijk digitaal doorgestuurd wordt.
Maar we wisten niet dat we binnen enkele uren de resultaten al terug zouden hebben.
Wij zijn enorm blij met deze uitslagen wat ons weer veel goeds bied voor de toekomst.

Today we went with Jimmy and Poppy for their xrays and that looked good.
We knew that we would have the results soon as they send them already digital to the one who give the final results.
But we didn't know that we would have the results within a couple of hours.

20-06-2017 Onze nieuwe aanwinst

Wij willen jullie graag voorstellen aan onze nieuwe aanwinst Pearl.
Kim is verleden week vertokken richting Detroit en is daar een week geweest voordat ze met Pearl naar huis kon vliegen.
Wij willen graag Judi en Debbie de fokkers van Pearl bedanken voor alle goede zorgen en het vertrouwen in ons.
Pearl is door Debbie naar Detroit gebracht zodat ze samen met Kim naar Frankfurt kon vliegen waarna we samen naar huis gereden zijn.
Pearl is een zusje van Jimmy alleen uit een latere combinatie.
Wij hebben hier bewust voor gekozen omdat we weten hoe open en vriendelijk Jimmy is en wij graag zo onze Coonhounds zien.
Pearl haar volledige naam is BayAway Kennisaw Black Pearl For Mergelhoeve.

 

20-06-2017 Our new family member

We would like to introduce our new family member Pearl.
Kim flew last week to Detroit and stayed there for a week before she could fly home with Pearl.
We want to thank Judi and Debbie the breeders of Pearl for all the good care and trust in us.
Debbie brought Pearl to Detroit so she could fly with Kim to Frankfurt and after that we drove home.
Pearl is a sister of our Jimmy only from a later combination.
We did chose for this as we know how great Jimmy's open and friendly personality is and that's what we want to see in our Coonhounds.
Pearls full name is BayAway Kennisaw Black Pearl For Mergelhoeve.

Het was de afgelopen dagen weer zo ver om onze pups uit te laten vliegen.
Die 9 weken zijn omgevlogen en wat hebben wij genoten van dit nest.

The last days it was so far  for our puppies to fly out.
That 9 weeks have flown by and what have we enjoyed this litter.

Vandaag zijn onze gordon setters naar de show geweest in Dortmund.
Beide deden het super en hebben mooie resultaten behaald.

Today we went with our gordon setters to the show in Dortmund.
Both did great and got nice results.

BayAway Kennisaw Flying Dutchman For Mergelhoeve 'Jimmy' 1Uitm BOB Junior.
Romance In Surrey v.d. Mergelhoeve LJK 'Poppy' 1Uitm BOB Junior.
Beide moesten terug in de ere-ring voor BIS-Junior.
Beide werden ze geselecteerd uit een hele grote groep jeugdhonden.
En Miss Poppy werd 2de BIS Junior!!!

Both needed to go in the main ring for BIS Junior.
Both got select out of a very very large group of junior dogs.
And Miss Poppy became 2nd BIS Junior!!!

De resultaten van ons team van 2 dagen showen in Goes.

1ste dag: BayAway Flying Dutchman For Mergelhoeve 'Jimmy' voor de eerste keer in de Jeugdklasse 1Uitm JCAC en Res.CAC.
Jimmy was Reserve Beste Reu.
2de dag: BayAway Flying Dutchman For Mergelhoeve 'Jimmy' 1Uitm JCAC en Res.CAC.
Jimmy was Reserve Beste Reu. 
Jimmy heeft nu 2 punten voor zijn Nederlands Jeugd Kampioenschap en 2 punten voor zijn Nederlands Kampioenschap.

1ste dag: NL.Ch. Perfect Thunder v.d. Mergelhoeve 'Thunder' 1Uitm CAC/CACIB en BOB.
Best In Groep en 3de Best In Show.
Thunder heeft zich hier mee gekwalificeerd voor de Hond van het Jaar Show.
2de dag: NL.Ch. Perfect Thunder v.d. Mergelhoeve 'Thunder' 1Uitm CAC/CACIB en BOB.
1ste dag: Romance In Surrey v.d. Mergelhoeve LJK 'Poppy' 1Uitm JCAC en Beste Teef CAC.
2de dag: Romance In Surrey v.d. Mergelhoeve LJK 'Poppy' 1ZG vanwege haar jeugdige gedrag.
Poppy heeft de eerste punten voor haar Nederlands Jeugd Kampioenschap en Nederlands Kampioenschap behaald.

Jimmy was Res Best Male.
2nd day: BayAway Flying Dutchman For Mergelhoeve 'Jimmy' 1Exc JCAC and Res. CAC.
Jimmy was Res Best Male. 
Jimmy has now 2 points for his Dutch Junior Championship and Dutch Championship.

1st day: NL.Ch. Perfect Thunder v.d. Mergelhoeve 'Thunder' 1Exc CAC/CACIB and BOB.
Best In Group and 3rd Best In Show.
Thunder did qualify for the Dog of the year show.
2nd day: NL.Ch. Perfect Thunder v.d. Mergelhoeve 'Thunder' 1Exc CAC/CACIB and BOB.
1st day: Romance In Surrey v.d. Mergelhoeve LJK 'Poppy' 1Exc JCAC and Best Bitch CAC.
2nd day: Romance In Surrey v.d. Mergelhoeve LJK 'Poppy' 1VG because of her youghtfull behavior.
Poppy opened her Dutch Junior Championship and Dutch Championship.

Er zijn geen puppies meer beschikbaar van on Secret-Nest.
We hebben voor allemaal liefde volle gezinnen gevonden.
Er zijn nieuwe foto's en een kort filmpje van ze.
Alles gaat goed met ze en ze groeien als kool.
Fire is een geweldige moeder.

There are no longer puppies available from our Secret-Litter.
We have found loving homes for all of them.
There are new pictures of them and also a short movie.
Everything goed really well with them and they are growing fast.
Fire is a great mom.

10-04-2017 Int. Dog Show Luxembourg

Resultaten van de Show in Luxembourg 08-04-2017.
Kim was gevraagd om 1 van door ons gefokte honden voor te brengen.
Romance In Rome v.d. Mergelhoeve 'Vadim' 3Uitm in de Jeugdklasse.
Romance In Surrey v.d. Mergelhoeve 'Poppy' 1Uitm Luxemburgs Jeugd Kampioen en Crufts kwalificatie voor 2018.
Beide zijn net 10 maanden oud en wij zijn ontzettend trots op ze. 
Het was voor Poppy de eerste keer dat ze op show was en gedroeg zich als een echte show queen.
VDH.Kamp. Only Mrs. Quickstep v.d. Mergelhoeve 'Missy' 3Uitm in een zware Kampioensklasse. 
Gefeliciteerd Dagmar en Missy dit hebben jullie goed gedaan.
En dan onze andere ster.  
BISS NL.Ch. Perfect Thunder v.d. Mergelhoeve 1Uitm CACL&CACIB&BOB en Crufts kwalificatie voor 2018.
Thunder is nu ook Luxemburgs Kampioen!!!! 
Poppy mocht later terug komen voor Best In Show Junior van de dag en deed het ontzettend goed. 
Poppy zat bij de selectie van de 15 Best In Show Juniors.
Toen was het de beurt aan Thunder om terug te komen in de groep en ook hij deed zijn uiterste best. 
Thunder werd 2de Best In Group maar hij komt terug voor Best In Show Zondag. 
Dit gezien de winnaar niet aanwezig kon zijn is er aan de keurmeester gevraagd of Thunder deze plaats mag in nemen en hij zij volmondig JA. 
Dus Thunder en Kim zijn zondag weer naar Luxemburg gereden voor de BIS keuring. 
Ze deden hun uiterste best samen. 
Zo geweldig om te zien. Thunder uitdigede de dag als 4de Best In Show.
Helemaal top Kim en Thunder we zijn trots op jullie.

10-04-2017 Int. Dog Show Luxembourg

Results from the International Dog Show in Luxembourg 08-04-2017.
Kim had the pleasure to handle one of our bred dogs.
Romance In Rome v.d. Mergelhoeve 'Vadim' 3rd Exc in Junior Class.
Romance In Surrey v.d. Mergelhoeve 'Poppy' 1Exc Luxembourg Junior Champion and Crufts Qualification for 2018.
Both are just 10 months old and we are very very proud of them. 
It was for Poppy her first show and she act like a show queen.
VDH.Ch. Only Mrs. Quickstep v.d. Mergelhoeve 'Missy' 3Exc in a very strong Champion Class. 
Well done Dagmar and Missy.
And then our other star. 
BISS NL.Ch. Perfect Thunder v.d. Mergelhoeve 1Exc CACL&CACIB&BOB and 
Crufts Qualification for 2018.
Thunder is now also Luxembourg Champion!!!! 
Poppy had to come back for BIS Junior of the Day and she was selected by the final 15 BIS juniors.
Thunder did came back in the group and he did very well too. 
Thunder became 2nd BIG but he will go back for Best In Show Sunday,
as the winner isn't there they asked the judge if Thunder can replace the winner and he said very happy YES. 
So Thunder and Kim went back to Luxembourg on Sunday and they showed their socks off.
Thunder did a wonderfull job and finished the day as 4th Best In Show!! 
Well done Kim and Thunder we are very proud of you.

Fire heeft het geweldig gedaan.
Zij en Billy zijn de trotse ouders geworden van 4 reuen en 5 teven.
Moeder en kinderen maken het goed.
Er zijn nog enkele pups beschikbaar van deze combinatie.

BISS NL.Ch Perfect Thunder v.d. Mergelhoeve NJK,JW'14,BJWNL'15,BWBE'16,BW'15&16,EW'16 'Thunder'
is naar Crufts geweest en kwam uit in ee hele sterke Open Klass.
Kim en Thunder hebben een leuke tijd gehad en ook ervan genoten.
Thunder viel dit keer buiten de prijzen maar het belangrijkste is dat ze daar waren en plezier hadden.

went to Crufts and did compete in a very strong Open Class.
Kim and Thunder had a lovely time.
Thunder wasn't so lucky this time to bring some cards home but the most important thing is they that were there and had fun.

Vandaag hebben Loek, Bep en Alain afscheid moeten nemen van Bob.
Gister vierde hij nog zijn 12de verjaardag.

We komen net terug van onze dierenarts en we mogen blij vertellen dat onze Fire drachtig is.
Puppies zullen rond eind Maart geboren worden.

15-01-2017 Hond van het jaar Show

Thunder blijft ons verrassen.
Vandaag was een onvergetelijke dag voor ons als fokkers en ook voor Kim als de trotse eigenaar.
BISS NL.Ch Perfect Thunder v.d. Mergelhoeve NJK,JW'14,BJWNL'15,BWBE'16,BW'15&16,EW'16 'Thunder' 
nam deel aan de Hond van het jaar Show 2016 waar hij zich een aantal keren voor wist te kwalificeren.
Het was een grote groep van 36 honden in de Jachthonden groep.
Iets waar we alleen maar op konden hopen werd vandaag werkelijkheid en een droom van Kim kwam uit.
Thunder won deze grote groep en moest later terug komen voor Best In Show.
Kim en Thunder hebben ontzettend hard gewerkt voor al hun overwinningen.
Thunder was bij de laatste 10 Beste Honden van 2016!!!

15-01-2017 Dog of the Year Show

Thunder keeps going.
Today it was a incredible day for us as breeders but also for Kim as owner.
BISS NL.Ch Perfect Thunder v.d. Mergelhoeve NJK,JW'14,BJWNL'15,BWBE'16,BW'15&16,EW'16 'Thunder' 
did compete at the Dog of the year Show 2016 as he did qualify a several times for that special show.
It was a huge group of 36 entries in the Gundog group.
Something we could only hope for happend and another dream of Kim came true.
Thunder won this huge group and had to come back for Best In Show later that day.
Kim and Thunder worked so hard for all their winnings and we are so proud of them.
Thunder was with the final 10 Best Dogs of 2016!!!

08-01-2017 Dogshow Genk Belgium

Thunder did it again!!!
BISS NL.Ch Perfect Thunder v.d. Mergelhoeve NJK,JW'14,BJWNL'15,BWBE'16,BW'15&16,EW'16 1Uitm CAC en BOB.
Als Kim goed geteld heeft, heeft Thunder nu alle punten bij elkaar voor zijn Belgisch Show Kampioenschap.
Maar dat is nog niet alles.
Later moesten zij terug komen in de groep en ze deden het geweldig.
Thunder eindigde de dag met een 2de plaats in de Groep.
Ze hebben samen al zoveel mooie resultaten behaald waar Kim alleen maar van kon dromen.

Thunder did it again!!!
BISS NL.Ch Perfect Thunder v.d. Mergelhoeve NJK,JW'14,BJWNL'15,BWBE'16,BW'15&16,EW'16 1Exc CAC and BOB.
When Kim did count correct Thunder has gained all his points for his Belgium Show Champion title.
But that's not all.
Later they had to come back for the group and did really well.
Thunder finished the day with a 2nd Best Of Group placement.
So proud soon he will be 3 years.
He got already so many nice results and group placements we could only dream of.

We kunnen niet goed het gevoel omschrijven maar het woord WOW zegt alles.
Wat een avond bij Champion of Champions in Genk.
Een geweldige atmostfeer met heel veel plezier en een geweldig diner achteraf.
BISS NL.Ch. Perfect Thunder v.d. Mergelhoeve NJK,JW'14,BJWNL'15,BWBE'16,BW'15&16,EW'16 was bij de laatste 4.
In de halve finale werd hij verslagen door een mooie weimaraner.
Wij zijn als fokker zeer trots op Thunder en Kim een trotse eigenaar.
In totaal waren er 40 ingeschreven honden voor deze speciale gelegenheid.

07-01-2017 Champion of Champions LKV Genk Belgium

We can't really express how we feel but the word WOW will say all.
What a night at the Champion of Champions in Genk.
A great atmosphere with lots of fun and a great dinner afterwards.
BISS NL.Ch. Perfect Thunder v.d. Mergelhoeve NJK,JW'14,BJWNL'15,BWBE'16,BW'15&16,EW'16 was with the final 4.
In the half final he got beaten by a lovely weimaraner.
We are so proud of Thunder as breeders and Kim as owner.
In total there were 40 entries for this special event.

07-01-2017 Dogshow Genk Belgium

Op Zaterdag heeft Jimmy zijn eerste show ervaring gehad.
Hij deed het prima en behaalde mooie resultaten.
BayAway Kennisaw Flying Dutchman For Mergelhoeve 1 Veel Belovend en BOB Puppy.
Later moest hij nog terug komen in de ere-ring maar werd hier niet uitgehaald.
De keurmeester gaf heel mooi kritiek in en buiten de ring na de keuring.
Wij zijn ontzettend trots met de kritiek van de keurmeester.

De 1ste is van de raskeuring en de 2de is van de ere-ring.

07-01-2017 Dogshow Genk Belgium

On Saturday Jimmy made his first entrance in to the show ring.
He did really well for the first time and got nice results.
BayAway Kennisaw Flying Dutchman For Mergelhoeve 1 Very Promissing and BOB Puppy.
Later he had to come back in the mainring but didn't got picked.
The judge made nice comments in and out of the ring about Jimmy what made us proud.
